Job Summary
Drive delivery vehicles weighing over 26,000 pounds and operate truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. Load/secure products, deliver to specified sites, assist with unloading, maintain delivery logs (mileage, weights, locations) and verify order accuracy. Serve as a customer service liaison, ensure vehicle and loading equipment are safe, perform routine safety checks and required DVIR/HOS postings, maintain cleanliness of vehicles, and may operate forklifts or other loading equipment. Must meet safety and regulatory requirements, read/speak English, and possess basic math/measurement skills. Role emphasizes safety, customer service, and compliant delivery operations with potential for varied physical activities (lifting up to 100-200 pounds) and on-site customer interaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years old
- valid driver’s license
- class B CDL license
- A minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience
- 2 years of CDL driving experience strongly preferred
