Job Summary
Responsible for driving delivery vehicles and/or operating truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. Adheres to driver safety/compliance regulations, delivers un-damaged goods on schedule, and provides professional service to customers. Drive vehicles weighing greater than 26,000 pounds and may tow vehicles or trailers less than 10,000 pounds. May load/unload, secure products, verify orders, maintain delivery logs, act as a customer service liaison, perform safety checks, operate a forklift or other material handling equipment, and complete pre/post trip inspections. Requires Class B CDL, 21+ years old, and relevant driving experience; strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer-facing duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Class B CDL license
- Valid driver's license
- 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred
- 1 year of delivery driving experience required
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently (up to 200 pounds with assistance)
- English language ability
