Job Summary
Conduct complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, then operate Class A commercial vehicles and electric pallet jacks to deliver product to customers and pick up from vendors. Check pallet tags for accuracy, fill out manifests and inspection sheets on apps, and return to the Boise depot after completing 4 to 5 stops per night. Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees, customers, and management, and be prepared to work holidays. This role supports Pacific Coast Fresh's fresh produce supply chain, offering access to earned wages and an employee purchase program.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle equivalent to the class of license the driver currently holds
- Customer Service experience
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack safely
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Be able to properly fill out a manifest, credit, and inspection sheet and drivers log on apps
- Must be able to work holidays if needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stack and un-stack product on pallets
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, carry, lift, push, pull, stoop while checking, loading, and delivering product
- all employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check prior to beginning work
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of produce types and ability to determine quality a plus (but not required)
