Job Summary
Handle and load/unload glass and metal products, secure loads, and operate boom cranes for multiple deliveries across New York, Dallas, and other locations. Perform daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections while resolving customer issues and reporting to the Fleet Manager. Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations, safety policies, and critical safety rules with regular, predictable attendance. Read and interpret mathematical measurements for glass sizes and delivery schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in compliance with all DOT requirements including an unexpired Medical Examiners Certificate
- Flexibility with start / end times
- City Driving Experience
- Must be able to read and interpret mathematical measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules as well as effectively use a tape measure
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Good customer relations and people skills a must
- Must be safety conscious
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be flexible with shift start and end time
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Must safely perform tasks
- Must adhere to all DOT regulations, safety policies, and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules
