Job Summary
Handle, load, and unload glass and metal products, including loose, crated, and racked materials, while operating flatbeds, rack trucks, and potentially Moffett equipment. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, secure loads, and execute multiple deliveries to customers in Indianapolis, IN. Resolve delivery-related issues and provide strong customer service at each stop. Maintain regular attendance, adhere to all DOT regulations and OBE Critical Safety Rules, and possess a safety-driven mindset. Valid CDL Class A license with 2+ years experience required, plus ability to read measurements and interpret delivery schedules. Rare overnights; typical start time 6:00 AM with 45–55 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Must meet all DOT requirements, including an unexpired Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Ability to read and interpret mathematical measurements, delivery schedules, and effectively use a tape measure
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong customer relations and people skills
- Comfortable with high‐touch freight and physically demanding unloading
- Safety‐driven mindset
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years CDL driving experience preferred
