Job Summary
Deliver customer freight in a timely fashion using safe driving techniques while maintaining accurate driver logs and adhering to DOT regulations. Perform daily fueling and basic system checks on Company-owned International Day Cabs or Kenworth Tractors. Ensure care and maintenance of vehicles, back a tractor trailer into a dock with minimum clearance, and represent the company positively with customers and the community. Requires strong knowledge of OTR transportation rules, controlled substance and alcohol use policies, and Hazmat endorsement. Drivers are home daily with excellent base pay, stop pay, and bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 2 years Class A experience
- 200,000 safe miles driven
- MVR-3 points or less
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to back a Tractor Trailer into a dock with minimum clearance
- An extensive knowledge of DOT rules, regulations and Company Policies
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations pertaining to: Controlled Substance and Alcohol Use, CDL Standard, Qualification of Drivers, Driving of Motor Vehicles, Hours of Service, and Transportation of Hazmat
