Job Summary
Deliver customer freight in a timely fashion using safe driving techniques and ensure quality while being accountable for Company equipment. Maintain accurate driver logs adhering to DOT regulations, perform daily fueling and basic system checks on tractor, and care for maintenance of Company owned vehicles. Operate 2013 or newer International Day Cabs or Kenworth Tractors in a home-daily schedule with excellent CSA scores. Requires strong customer relation skills and knowledge of DOT rules, regulations, and Company Policies regarding Hours of Service, Hazmat, and Controlled Substance use.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 2 years Class A experience
- 200,000 safe miles driven
- MVR-3 points or less
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to back a Tractor Trailer into a dock with minimum clearance
- An extensive knowledge of DOT rules, regulations and Company Policies
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations pertaining to: Controlled Substance and Alcohol Use, CDL Standard, Qualification of Drivers, Driving of Motor Vehicles, Hours of Service, and Transportation of Hazmat
