Job Summary
Deliver customer freight in a timely fashion using safe driving techniques and ensuring quality while being accountable for Company equipment. Maintain accurate driver logs adhering to DOT regulations and perform daily fueling and basic system checks on Company owned vehicles. Operate International Day Cabs or Kenworth Tractors in a home-daily schedule with excellent CSA scores. Requires 2 years Class A CDL experience, 200,000 safe miles driven, and MVR with 3 points or less. Hazmat endorsement preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 2 years Class A experience
- 200,000 safe miles driven
- MVR-3 points or less
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to back a Tractor Trailer into a dock with minimum clearance
- An extensive knowledge of DOT rules, regulations and Company Policies
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations pertaining to: Controlled Substance and Alcohol Use, CDL Standard, Qualification of Drivers, Driving of Motor Vehicles, Hours of Service, and Transportation of Hazmat
