Job Summary
Deliver customer freight in a timely fashion using safe driving techniques while ensuring quality and accountability for company equipment. Maintain accurate driver logs adhering to DOT regulations, perform daily fueling and system checks on International Day Cabs or Kenworth Tractors, and back tractors into docks with minimum clearance. Operate dry vans for drop and hook runs with a focus on no-touch freight and excellent CSA scores. Drive home daily in a safety-conscious environment representing the company positively with customers and the community. Requires strong customer relation skills and knowledge of OTR transportation rules and DOT regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 2 years Class A experience
- 200,000 safe miles driven
- MVR-3 points or less
- Criminal Background Check
- High School Diploma or GED
- An extensive knowledge of DOT rules, regulations and Company Policies
- Ability to back a Tractor Trailer into a dock with minimum clearance
- Hazmat endorsement
