Job Summary
Drive delivery vehicles weighing over 26,000 pounds and/or operate truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver building-materials and related products to customer sites; load/unload materials, secure loads, and assist customers; verify orders, maintain delivery logs, and communicate with customers; perform pre/post trip inspections, follow DVIR/HOS procedures, and uphold safety standards; may operate a forklift or other material-handling equipment; require a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, and strong safety and customer-service focus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Class A CDL license
- A minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience
- DOT medical card
- Ability to read and speak the English language
- MVR
- Pass MVR report
- Basic math & measurement skills
- Climb into vehicle and operate controls
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently (up to 200 pounds with assistance)
