Job Summary
Drive delivery vehicles and truck-trailer combinations to transport building materials to customer sites, weighing over 26,000 pounds. Load and secure products, maneuver vehicles into loading positions, and assist customers with unloading while verifying order details against invoices. Maintain logs for mileage, deliveries, and hours of service, perform pre/post trip inspections, and use handheld devices for DVIR compliance. Operate forklifts or non-motorized equipment to load and offload materials. Act as a customer service liaison to resolve issues and ensure un-damaged goods arrive on schedule. Requires a Class A CDL, valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and less than five moving violations in the last five years. No supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years old

- 1 year of delivery driving experience

- Pass MVR report
- Obtain a DOT medical card within five (5) days of a request
- Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years
- Basic math & measurement skills
- Ability to read and speak the English language
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to physically operate delivery vehicles (climb up and down into cab, twist torso for 360 degree visibility, use arms to operate controls, etc.)
- Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, up to 200 pounds
- Must be able to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling
