Job Summary
Driver-Class A CDL Delivery role delivering materials to customer sites for Builders FirstSource. Responsibilities include operating delivery vehicles (>26,000 lbs), loading/unloading assistance, securing products, verifying orders, maintaining delivery logs, serving as a customer service liaison, performing safety checks, and complying with DVIR/HOS requirements. Requires High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid Class A CDL and license, MVR, DOT medical card, and clean driving record; preferred 2+ years CDL delivery experience. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds with assistance; ability to operate delivery vehicles and perform related tasks in a production environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years old
- valid driver's license and a class A CDL license
- A minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience
- 2 years of CDL driving experience are strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Class A CDL license
- Pass MVR report
- Obtain a DOT medical card within five (5) days of a request
- Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years
- Basic math & measurement skills
- Ability to read and speak the English language
