Job Summary
Drive delivery vehicles and/or operate truck-trailer combinations weighing over 26,000 lbs to transport and deliver materials to customer sites; load/unload materials, verify order details, maintain logs of deliveries, and act as a customer service liaison. Use hand-held devices for DVIR/HOS compliance, perform pre/post trip inspections, operate a forklift or non-motorized handling equipment, and adhere to safety procedures to protect people and products. Requires High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid Class A CDL, and a clean MVR with limited violations; duties include securing loads, navigating delivery routes, and ensuring accurate invoicing and paperwork. Skills include basic math, English proficiency, safety awareness, and customer-focused service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver's license
- Class A CDL license
- Pass MVR report
- DOT medical card within five (5) days of a request
- Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years
- Basic math & measurement skills
- Ability to read and speak the English language
