Job Summary
Deliver materials using Class A CDL vehicles, load and secure products, deliver orders to customer sites, and assist with unloading. Maintain logs of deliveries (mileage, locations, weights), verify against invoices, and act as a customer-service liaison. Perform routine vehicle safety checks, comply with DVIR/HOS, and participate in safety meetings. May operate a forklift or other material handling equipment and assist with loading/unloading. Must meet physical requirements (lift up to 100 pounds frequently, up to 200 pounds with assistance) and obtain/maintain a valid DOT medical card. BFs driver role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and service to customers; responsibilities include ensuring proper handling, documentation, and compliance with company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver's license
- Class A CDL license
- A minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience
- 2 years of CDL driving experience are strongly preferred
- Pass MVR report
- Obtain a DOT medical card within five (5) days of a request
- Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years
- Basic math & measurement skills
- Ability to read and speak the English language
