Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to transport and deliver freight throughout the Kona area while scanning, verifying, and documenting shipments. Load and unload freight safely using proper lifting techniques, hand trucks, and ramps to off-load deliveries. Complete assigned routes, adjust for delays, ensure freight security, and perform vehicle inspections with accurate record-keeping. Follow all DOT and safety requirements, report equipment issues, and communicate professionally with customers and dispatch. Maintain vehicles, assist with warehouse duties, and work night shifts in a 2-week on, 2-week off rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Class B CDL or Hawaii Class 4 License
- 2 week on, 2 week off rotation
- Night Shift
