Job Summary
Operate the courtesy shuttle to transport hotel guests to and from local destinations, greet guests, and promote hotel services. Drives shuttle on scheduled shifts (Mondays and Tuesdays from 2 PM–12 AM; additional shifts as needed), logs trips and fuel receipts, loads/unloads luggage, stays in contact with front office via radio, and assists in other departments as schedule allows to ensure 100% guest satisfaction. Must hold a state driver’s license with no restrictions to operate the shuttle and be able to meet airport certification requirements. Requires strong verbal/written interpersonal skills, a commitment to guest service, a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends, and adherence to hotel policies and safety/traffic laws; physical ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- State Driver’s License with no restrictions that prevent operating hotel shuttle
- Ability to clear all necessary airport certification requirements to operation shuttle in airport
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to exceptional guest service
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
- Adhere to safe driving practices and traffic law
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Able to drive for long periods and sit/stand for entire shift
- Ability to communicate with front desk and other drivers via radio
