Job Summary
Transport students to and from school safely while operating vehicles and equipment in accordance with the Driver Handbook, company policy, and local ordinances. Observe mandatory safety regulations, keep emergency exits clear, and handle adverse weather conditions effectively. Inspect vehicles before and after each route, maintain clean conditions, and report any maintenance needs to the Director. Adhere to district health and safety policies and interact positively with students and staff. Work without direct supervision in a high-stress environment involving prolonged sitting, requiring a valid license, clean record, and three years of prior driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- 3 years prior driving experience
- Must be able to work as part of a team and get along with various personalities
- Pass DSS Background check
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
