Job Summary
This role is a finance-oriented Check-in Associate responsible for counting products returned by drivers, maintaining records of quantity, type, and value, and ensuring proper processing of returns. The incumbent inspects returned products to determine restocking needs or credits, verifies invoices and delivery exceptions, coordinates with Credit Services and Food Safety, and documents appropriate information for efficient processing. Duties include identifying missed collections, ensuring food safety protocols, coding return reasons and damages, staging returns for inventory updates, and generating accurate counts and reports to support inventory accuracy and reimbursement processes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school degree or equivalent
- Experience: 1 year of pallet jack and/or forklift experience
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Effective spoken and written communication in English
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to work with units of measure
- Ability to coordinate with Credit Services and Food Safety
- Ability to verify invoices and process returns
- Proficiency with inventory and return processing
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
