Job Summary
Certified Driver/CNA transports residents safely and timely to medical appointments, community activities, and facility needs; when not driving, provides basic CNA support such as mobility assistance, vital signs support, and observation. Responsibilities emphasize safe vehicle operation, pre-/post-trip inspections, documentation (logs, mileage, appointments), vehicle maintenance, infection-control compliance, and professional representation in the community, with secondary duties including resident care support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing
- Valid driver’s license meeting company driving standards
- Ability to maintain an approved DOT Medical Card
- Successful completion of facility driver training modules
- Ability to safely operate multi-passenger transport vehicles and wheelchair lifts
