Job Summary
Transports designated individuals/groups to needed programs/services; delivers food and inter-office mail; picks up and delivers supplies; performs light maintenance, repair, and cleaning at designated sites; adheres to local traffic laws and safety regulations; may transport clients and staff and maintain order during trips; capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and operating the vehicle safely; bilingual English/Spanish a plus; flexible hours; FBI/BCI background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have high school degree or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for the State of Ohio with less than two points on driving record, a CDL license is a plus
- Must be able to safely and competently operate vehicle
- Must be able to supervise passenger conduct according to recommended procedures
- Must be able to give and to follow good verbal and written instructions
- Must conduct self in appropriate and safe manner
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must have an awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural diversity of the population served
- Will be able to pass a FBI/BCI background check
- Physical requirements include ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely and ability to climb and descend stairs independently while transporting supplies, equipment, and/or food
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
