Job Summary
Transports designated individuals/groups, delivers food, runs errands, and picks up/delivers supplies. Performs light maintenance, cleaning, and safe operation of the organization vehicle while adhering to local traffic laws and safety procedures. May transport clients and staff, maintain order during trips, inspect vehicle condition (tires, gas, oil, water), request maintenance, and assist with loading/unloading of items. Requires high school diploma, valid Ohio driver’s license (CDL a plus), ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and ability to pass FBI/BCI background check. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Flexible hours and safety/compliance awareness are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must have high school degree or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for the State of Ohio with less than two points on driving record, a CDL license is a plus.
- Must be able to safely and competently operate vehicle.
- Must be able to supervise passenger conduct according to recommended procedures.
- Must be able to give and to follow good verbal and written instructions.
- Must conduct self in appropriate and safe manner.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must have awareness of and sensitivity to cultural diversity of the population served.
- Will be able to pass a FBI/BCI background check.
