Job Summary
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, cross-check orders while loading, and safely drive assigned routes to deliver products using a Moffett. Unload and ensure accurate, complete delivery to customers in Taunton, MA, while maintaining the vehicle in good condition and keeping all logs and receipts current. Perform routine checks, report issues, and provide professional customer service throughout the Monday-Friday schedule from 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Maintain high order accuracy and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and DOT regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least three (3) years of Commercial Driver License (CDL) experience
- At least three (3) years of Hoisting License / Hydraulic License experience
- Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license
- Hoisting License MA & RI
- Pass the required Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) and background screening
- Punctuality and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Minimum of three years of previous delivery or truck driving experience
- Must be able to understand maps/GPS
- Ability to walk/stand/sit
- Ability to push/pull/lift to 70lbs repetitively
- Must be able to bend, twist and stoop frequently
- Must be able to climb in and out of truck routinely
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
