Job Summary
Drive the mammography mammovan to screening sites across Puget Sound, selecting optimal routes and ensuring full DOT compliance. Perform daily pre-trip checks, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and schedule maintenance while coordinating image transfers to clinics for radiologist review. Conduct site surveys to verify accessibility and parking, restock supplies cost-effectively, and maintain clean, organized workspaces. Provide courier services between campus locations and patient housing, ensuring patient and staff safety throughout all shifts. Maintain an excellent driving record, report all infractions immediately, and complete required accident reports. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 6:00pm on a per diem basis, with availability dependent on coverage needs. Candidates must hold a current Washington State Class "A" commercial driver's license and possess two years of commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Washington State Class "A" commercial driver's license
- Current medical examination report filed with the WA State Department of Transportation associated with Class "A" commercial driver's license
- 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Good customer relations skills
- No major infractions or accidents for the past three consecutive years
- Ability to pass driving road test
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
- Computer and MS program skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holidays
