Job Summary
Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks on equipment including the tractor, trailer, and pallet jack. Complete daily field service activities by preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records while adhering to FMCSA regulations and OSHA standards. Deliver products safely and efficiently to various stores and warehouses across Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa, utilizing a smart phone, electronic logging device, and scanner for accurate delivery logging. Work Monday through Saturday in the 3rd shift (12am–4:30am start) for 10 hours per shift, totaling 40–50 hours weekly, with flexibility to adapt to changing routes and outdoor weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-Class A license
- At least one year of proven safe driving experience
- Valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID
- Successful completion of drug test, MVR, and background check
- FMCSA's Clearinghouse Registration
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Minimum of one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions
- Familiarity with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements
- Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation
- Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times
- Able to use a scanner and log deliveries
- Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures
- Schedule: Monday - Saturday (5 days a week)
- 3rd Shift Starting between 12am- 4.30am
