Job Summary
Delivers products to customers, including assistance with unloading and ensuring delivery tickets are completed. Loads and unloads trucks, performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations, and reports vehicle defects or accidents. Plans routes to and from customers while maintaining accurate vehicle logs and bills of lading. Fuels truck as needed and resolves customer service issues. May assist warehouse staff with pulling orders, receiving, verifying, and stocking incoming materials. Requires a current Class A CDL with relevant endorsements and at least one year of commercial driving experience. Required Qualifications
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for type of equipment being operated
- At least 1 year of Class A driving experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for evening shifts
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
- Forklift experience
- On-the-job manual transmission operating experience
- Prior experience loading/unloading piping products (lumber, steel, building products, etc.)
- Making job site deliveries
