Job Summary
Conduct product delivery routes for water, wastewater, storm drainage, and fire protection products, managing loading, unloading, and forklift operations during delivery downtime. Assist in warehouse tasks as needed while maintaining high safety standards and building relationships with municipal, private, and residential customers. Drive flatbed vehicles with at least one year of experience, utilizing Class A or B credentials to serve local and regional markets. Work flexible hours to prioritize evening and weekend availability, balancing essential infrastructure delivery with personal time.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of Class A or Class B driving experience
- Valid driver's license (implied by 'Class A or Class B driving experience' and 'Behind the wheel')
- Must be available for weekend shifts (implied by 'home in time for dinner' and 'evenings and weekends')
- Must be willing to assist in the warehouse as needed, during delivery down-time
- Must be willing to assist in loading/unloading product
- Must be willing to assist in job site delivery
- Must be able to utilize a forklift
- Must be able to load/unloading product
- Must be able to manage delivery routes
- Must be able to represent the company with every customer interaction
- Must be flexible and able to adjust quickly to changing customer and delivery priorities
- Must be able to connect and build relationships with customers
- Must be able to work in an industry whose products provide safe, reliable infrastructure
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work in St. Louis
- Must be able to work nationwide (implied by 'nationwide' and 'national supply chain')
- Must be able to work in municipal, non-residential and residential end markets
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of flatbed driving experience
- Forklift certification
- 2+ years of delivery experience
- Prior experience loading/unloading product
- Prior experience job site delivery
