Job Summary
Responsible for safely transporting material from a clients’ location and to an assigned destination for processing or disposal, loading and unloading with commercial trucks and/or heavy/agricultural equipment (may include tankers and end dump trailers in an off-road environment). Duties include daily truck log submission, performing vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance, adhering to DOT/state/local regulations, operating equipment safely, executing loading/unloading and timely delivery, traveling between job sites (including potential overnight travel), cleaning bio-solids from equipment, and participating in shop cleanup and setup. Required capabilities include backing up and navigating routes, effective communication, relationship-building with clients and the public, adaptability to varying shifts/overtime/weekend duties, and safe operation of trucks/equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) Class B
- Minimum 3 years roll-off experience preferred
- Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years
