Job Summary
Driver-CDL Boom/Crane responsible for operating a delivery vehicle with a crane/boom to load/unload heavy construction materials at customer sites. Includes rigging, planning, and hoisting, calculating crane capacities and weights, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, maintaining logs and vehicle/equipment upkeep, and adhering to safety procedures. Requires CDL, Boom/Crane Operator certification, and physical ability to lift heavy loads; 21+ with a safe driving history. Strong emphasis on safety, customer communication, and efficient delivery operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years driving experience
- Minimum of one (1) year experience operating a Boom or Crane or equivalent
- Valid CDL at all times
- Boom or Crane Operator certification
- DOT medical card within five days of request
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Ability to operate crane equipment and perform related tasks
- Good safety record (less than five moving violations in past five years)
