Job Summary
Driver - CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, performing thorough pre- and post-operation inspections, loading refuse and operating the loader/packer, following route sheets to service customers, and completing required reports. The role requires adherence to safety standards and company policies, interaction with customers and dispatchers, participation in the ReSOP program, and maintaining operational readiness of the vehicle. A Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required, and the position offers comprehensive benefits as part of Republic Services.
Required Qualifications
- Class B Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement
- Experience operating heavy trucks
- Ability to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections
- Ability to follow route sheets and service customers on assigned routes
- Ability to complete route/productivity sheets and daily reports
- Commitment to safety policies and procedures
