Driver - CDL (B)

Conduct complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment are in proper working order. Safely operate a heavy collection truck along designated routes, reading route sheets and servicing customers as assigned by dispatchers. Perform loading and compaction of refuse, dispose of material at designated facilities, and clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each trip. Maintain vehicle condition by cleaning waste, monitoring for defects, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to minimize downtime. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers, tag them per departmental procedures, and clean accidental spills while adhering to all safety standards. Complete required route, productivity, and safety reports to ensure efficient customer service and departmental goals.
