Job Summary
Conduct complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. Safely operate a heavy truck along designated routes, reading route sheets, following maps, and servicing customers as identified by the dispatcher or supervisor. Perform manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of collected material at the designated facility. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers, tag them per departmental procedures, and clean areas around accidental spills while adhering to all safety standards. Complete required route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other reports as required. Maintain adherence to productivity standards, safety policies, and the ReSOP program to ensure efficient and safe service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license
- Air brakes endorsement
