Job Summary
Conduct hazardous waste pickups and transport waste streams to generator sites using class A trucks, including roll-offs, tankers, and straight trucks. Perform LTL pickups, maintain driver documents, and adhere to DOT regulations for placarding, loading, and segregation. Execute pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, interact with customers, and assist in facility housekeeping. May function as a technician on lab pack and field service projects. Operate Monday through Friday with variable scheduling including 3-4 overnight shifts per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid class A commercial driver's license
- Hazardous material endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Ability to get endorsement(s) within 90 days from hire date
- MVR that meets Company policy standards
- Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to stay focused
- Ability to handle multiple, diverse responsibilities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
