Job Summary
Deliver materials to job sites by preparing, loading, and shipping orders while ensuring correct merchandise is pulled and labeled. Navigate equipment through the warehouse to collect customer orders, record selected merchandise per standard operating procedures, and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment, report shortages and claims to supervisors, and assist in loading and storing materials. Ensure all procedures, rules, and regulations are followed while communicating with supervisors and coworkers. Requires a clean driving record, current operator's license, and ability to lift 50-100 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Current operator's license
- At least 21 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must pass drug test
- Experience driving trucks for delivery
- Ability to do arithmetic
- Ability to read orders
- Ability to write instructions
- Ability to complete forms
- Ability to work closely & cordially with other staff associates
- Must be able to stand and walk for much of the day
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
