Job Summary
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices, and assist all riders on and off the bus. Maintain excellent vehicle cleanliness, utilize in-vehicle tablets for trip validation, and complete required paperwork and training. Comply with federal, state, and company rules while treating riders with respect and dignity. This active role involves significant physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and requires a Class E or CDL license. Drivers serve seniors, individuals with disabilities, and the rural public across Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 23 years of age
- Class E or CDL license with no more than 4 points assessed
- Ability to pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test
- Ability to take and pass drug screening and undergo random drug/alcohol testing
- Bondable status
- Proactive, helpful, can-do attitude with flexibility to adjust to different schedules and routes
- Neat, organized, able to work independently
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
