Job Summary
Driver / Transportation Specialist delivering safe transport for individuals with IDD to day programs and community activities, with light caregiving support as needed. Responsibilities include loading/unloading passengers, ensuring safety, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, completing documentation, and communicating with team, families, and external parties. Regular part-time routes with consistent weekly hours and paid onboarding/training, plus opportunities for advancement and benefits. Starting pay $17.50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Willingness to assist with light personal-care needs when necessary
- Lifting may be required depending on client needs
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – paid training provided
