Job Summary
Drive residents to assigned destinations while assisting them into and out of the vehicle safely. Secure wheelchairs to restraining devices, clean the vehicle, and ensure sufficient fueling. Monitor daily trip inspections and report any accidents, damage, or maintenance needs immediately. Follow operating safety procedures and traffic laws while handling emergency situations and basic First Aid. Maintain a safe driving record and operate a sixteen-passenger bus if required. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with holidays on rotation. Part-time role requires a current driver's license, one year of related experience, and ability to operate wheelchair lift and dollies.
