Job Summary
Quality Light Service Battery Technician to join our team handling roadside assistance and emergency road service duties including tire changes, fuel delivery, lockouts, jumpstarts, and battery testing/education on AAA battery service. Must be active, able to communicate professionally with dispatch and customers, perform daily truck inspections, maintain safety and cleanliness of the vehicle and yard, and operate under safety rules and traffic laws. Training provided; position requires a valid license and ability to work in variable weather and conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Reside near assigned area to meet customer service time requirements
- Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to bend, stoop, walk and stand for periods in all weather
- No prior experience required; training provided
- Heavy Equipment or Machine Operation skills a plus
- Willing to take a drug test and background check
- Capable to drive in inclement weather
- Proficient in utilizing mobile and computer applications for administrative work
- Proficient in paper-based administrative work
- Employment contingent upon successful background screening including criminal background check, motor vehicle records review, social security screening, and drug and alcohol test as required by law
