Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused CDL Driver to operate Class 8 tractors for chemical distribution, transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Responsibilities include performing bulk and packaged deliveries, executing proper loading and unloading procedures, completing required documentation, and ensuring compliance with DOT and OSHA standards. Candidates must possess a Class 'A' CDL, DOT medical card, and the ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Prior experience in chemical delivery is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Class 'A' CDL with Tanker, Bulk, and/or Hazmat Endorsement
- Current DOT medical card
- TWIC card or proof of application
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts
- Ability to operate power units using advanced camera and safety systems
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Pass E-verify check
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year liquid bulk hauling experience
- Minimum of 3 years commercial truck driving experience
- Certification from Accredited Commercial Driving Academy
Additional Requirements
- Must reside local to area (within sixty miles)
- Cannot have facial hair that may interfere with wearing a respirator
