Job Summary
Provide transportation to and from the North Side YMCA and elementary schools using 14-passenger vans, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children while establishing positive relationships with each child. Maintain meaningful connections with parents, donors, and volunteers, and report any injuries or incidents to the site coordinator. Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings to help plan activities and uphold YMCA core values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility. This high-energy role requires certified CPR, AED, and First Aid skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outside regularly scheduled hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid
- Must have an interest in, and like children and exemplify and support the YMCA philosophy
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a good driving record
- Must attend all scheduled YMCA trainings
- Must have current CPR certification
- Must uphold the YMCA employee appearance guidelines
