Job Summary
Bank Driver in Circle Health Group Decontamination: collect contaminated trolleys from hospitals and clinics, deliver them to the decontamination facility, return clean trolleys with reprocessed instruments to clinical departments, perform daily vehicle checks, monitor fuel and tyre pressure, maintain vehicle hygiene, and act as a communication link between customers and the decontamination unit; provide courteous, professional service and work across rotating day/night shifts with flexible hours as required.
Required Qualifications
- A full, clean UK driving licence (Category B)
- Proven experience of driving vans with tail lifts
- Comfortable driving in urban and rural environments, in all weather conditions, and under time pressure
- Ability to carry out manual handling and lifting duties safely
- A good standard of general education, with the ability to complete delivery logs and read route instructions
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends or public holidays
- Commitment to maintaining vehicle hygiene and safety standards
