Job Summary
Drive the shuttle bus between Granite Regional Park County, State Offices, and the light rail station, strictly following the assigned route and complying with all traffic laws. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on two shuttle buses, conduct regular cleaning, and coordinate repairs as needed. Greet every passenger with a friendly, professional manner, safely operate the wheelchair lift, and limit interactions to the designated property. Assist management with fleet record-keeping and support fellow drivers with assigned duties. Work a regular part-time schedule of 20–30 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Clean DMV record: No moving violation citations in the past year, and no more than two in the previous three years
- Ability to meet all federal and state driving standards
- No DUI/DWI or drug abuse convictions
- No history of a canceled or suspended vehicle operator's license
- No suspension or revocation of driving privileges within the past five years
- No felony convictions
- Must possess or be able to successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening
- Strong commitment to following all safety procedures and effectively communicating them to passengers
- A friendly personality dedicated to providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional communication with passengers and co-workers
- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain a very exact schedule and strictly adhere to the designated route without deviation
- Flexible availability and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a great work environment
