Job Summary
Deliver orders and collect payment from customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Make deliveries to residential and commercial locations, record completed orders accurately into the POS system, and handle credit card charges and change. Prioritize best routing for multiple deliveries while cleaning and maintaining equipment. Assist with restocking and replenishment as directed. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth store operations. Maintain minimal insurance coverage, possess a valid license for two years, and have a properly maintained vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid state driving license for 2 or more years.
- Driving experience for 2 or more years.
- Possess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customers.
- Have use of a properly maintained, licensed, and street-legal vehicle capable of driving
- Maintain minimal or higher insurance coverage as mandated by state law.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record as stipulated by company policy and insurance carrier.
- Possess a cell phone to use for calling customers upon arrival.
- Be capable of reading a map and interpreting GPS directions.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and make change.
- Be able to work in a sitting while driving, standing, and walking position with frequent changes between positions.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Have exceptional grooming and hygiene habits.
