Job Summary
Safely and timely delivery of assigned loads to final destinations; maintain driving record and comply with safety standards; perform both teamwork and independent driving duties; verify shipment contents, invoices, and any variances; assist with loading/unloading as needed; maintain accurate route sheets and inventory records; provide superb customer service and communicate effectively with management and customers; operate delivery vehicles and pallets up to 2400 pounds, while adhering to company policies and OSHA requirements; role requires strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on detail and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class C Drivers License
- 1-2 years of driving experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos
- Ability to verify contents of shipments and handle invoices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to operate industrial machines to move pallets up to 2400 pounds
