Job Summary
Operate a 7.5T vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver drainage products, pipes, fittings, and coils to approximately six sites daily within the Broxburn and Uphall area. Load, secure, and unload goods while adhering to safety procedures, and conduct daily vehicle checks to report defects. Plan efficient routes to maximize performance, provide excellent customer service, and comply with all transport legislation and health and safety policies. Support yard operations including stock handling and housekeeping during quieter periods. Work Monday to Friday full time with no weekends or overruns. Join a stable UK company preparing to move into a larger facility in Uphall.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class C1 (7.5T) Licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a working environment
- Strong knowledge of drivers' hours rules and transport regulations
- Ability to plan efficient delivery routes and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
- Valid driver's license
