Job Summary
Drives a straight truck or tractor-trailer to transport donated goods to and from Goodwill collection sites and stores, operates the vehicle safely and efficiently, loads/unloads as needed, complies with DOT standards, maintains a good driving record, and delivers on schedule while providing courteous customer service; performs required paperwork and adheres to safety, attendance, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- A Current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Ryder Driver Certification
- Must pass the DOT physical certification and be updated every two years
- Two (2) years of straight truck or tractor-trailer driving experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Education: A high school diploma or a GED is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade County roadways and areas is necessary
- Language: Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus
