Complete daily commercial and residential collection routes safely, averaging 300–500 pickups per shift. Perform accurate pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT standards and report mechanical concerns proactively. Utilize onboard computer systems and routing software to maintain service accuracy and resolve customer issues within one shift. Adhere to all safety protocols and municipal regulations to achieve zero preventable incidents over a 90-day window. Navigate route changes and last-minute adjustments with minimal disruption to team operations. This role supports the operational backbone of Casella's mission to protect environmental health and serve communities with integrity. Candidates must have served in the U.S. military with 5+ years in operations or logistics leadership, hold a valid CDL (or qualify for company-sponsored training), and possess a clean driving record. Early morning or off-shift conditions are required.
