Job Summary
Draft client legal opinions to assess signatory authority and support the identification of legal criteria for business activities. Review agreements related to CIB matters and service providers, and assist in evaluating seizures, attachments, and judicial orders across Colombia and Peru. Collaborate with expert professionals to shape decisions while leveraging AI tools for document review and issue-spotting. This 6-month, full-time in-person role in Bogotá may extend to 24 months based on performance. Candidates must be recent law graduates fluent in English with no prior work experience.
Required Qualifications
- Law school last year student, or maximum recent graduate
- Full-time commitment
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interest in commercial, civil, and financial law, as well as corporate and banking law
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and quality of legal work (e.g., drafting support, summarization, issue-spotting, and document review workflows), with sound judgment, confidentiality, and attention to accuracy
- Authorized to work in Colombia
- Full-time, in-person availability in Bogotá only
