Job Summary

Lead the Drive Products front-end sales team in Chennai, accountable for creating sales plans, analyzing customer needs, coordinating with the Sales organization and teams, supporting customers through the sales process, participating in sales strategy discussions for the assigned area, negotiating the division sales budget, driving product launches and communications, and providing technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Role involves communicating the value proposition of ABB Drive products/services, and collaborating with channel partners, system integrators, and OEMs to grow the business.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in leading a front-end sales organization
  • Strong Experience in handling Channel Partners, System integrator and OEM Business
  • Knowledge on Segment and Application
  • Knowledge of drives
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or Electronics
  • Strong background in Low Voltage drives & Automation business
  • Track record of delivering business results in matrixed, multinational environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to lead business transformations and growth mandates
  • Expertise in sales management, customer relationship building, consultative selling, and value-based solutions
  • Leadership skills with a growth mindset: developing teams, fostering cross-division collaboration, and promoting accountability
