Job Summary
Lead the execution of complex multi-disciplinary drinking water treatment projects from design through construction, ensuring compliance with the Ontario Safe Drinking Water Act and regulatory guidelines. Serve as the primary technical advocate for municipal clients while providing senior-level guidance on processes such as conventional treatment, membrane filtration, and ozone/UV disinfection. Oversee team dynamics, performance evaluations, and financial health for a portfolio delivering over $1.4B in CAPEX projects, while cultivating a culture of technical curiosity and professional growth for a staff of 10. Collaborate on critical business pursuits, lead technical proposals, and represent AECOM at industry conferences to maintain a pulse on emerging technologies and regulatory shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- 8+ years of progressive experience in the design and construction of municipal drinking water treatment plants
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or transferable within 6 months
- Proven track record of managing technical teams and successful project delivery
- Skilled in delivering a comprehensive strategic vision throughout all phases of multi-million dollar drinking water infrastructure projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish

Desired Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in the design and construction of municipal drinking water treatment plants
- Master's or PhD degrees in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental engineering
- Strong existing relationships with GTA clients and the drinking water industry, including participation/activity in associations
- Progressive experience as Project Manager in municipal water engineering design and construction
- PMP certification
