Job Summary
Drinking Water Treatment Engineer to support planning, data management, field investigations, design, permitting, report writing, grant writing support, public outreach, construction inspection, and other related tasks primarily in the Philadelphia area with potential to support projects across the Northeast. Responsibilities include performing technical analyses to evaluate sustainable water and wastewater management solutions, preparing and reviewing technical reports and documentation for environmental engineering projects, assisting in the planning and design of environmental protection systems, contributing to facility or watershed plans, analyzing data with quality control for regulatory compliance, and providing technical input for permitting and regulatory approvals. The role may also involve modeling of treatment and conveyance systems, vendor coordination, mentorship, and adapting to evolving project needs. Requirements typically include a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; BC SMS certification is preferred/expected as progress is made.
